About
Young Eun Kang is a Seoul-based artist whose work begins with observing the subtle traces left on used objects.
Layers of wear—softened edges, accumulated marks, and faded surfaces—become records of time, labor, and presence.
She is interested in how people and objects gradually adapt to the environments that hold them, each forming natural habits and shapes over time. In her paintings, these humble forms become steady companions: quiet reminders of endurance, transformation, and the gentle fading that accompanies everyday life.
